4.11 Jailbreaking

is there any possible way i could use a regular USB drive to downgrade my ps3 to 3.55? i dont feel like buying the thingy for it :( i need help..:dontknow::dontknow:

Well you can only do so with a hardware flasher.

Only if you can magically add a hardware flasher, a PSgrade/JIG and THEN use that usb stick for holding your prepatched PUP to install, as explained in any downgrader thread/wiki/guide...

Come on OP, if there was a simple way of downgrading via USB or even 4.11 CFW do you really think people would be crazy to still be using flashers and soldering?

*sigh* Please please pleeeease read the huge banner at the top of every page in the forum! There isn't currently a way to downgrade without a hardware flasher.

Personally I don't think it's worth the time to get a flasher and downgrade it. Would have been nice to have Linux and running emulators, but I have a HTPC for that purpose.

I'd rather wait for 4.11 to be jailbroken.
