HOW do i unjailbreak my jailbroken ps3 running on firmware 3.55
 

can any1 pls help me...i have a jailbroken ps3 runnin on 3.55 firmware and the custom firmware is gaia manager......now i wanna unjaibreak it.. so i downloaded the official 3.55 firmware to my macbook but its a .rar file and frm the information I've gathered it needs to be a .PUP file ...so my question is how do i go about extractin the .PUP from the .rar file do i need to download WINRAR to extract .PUP and if so how do i do it...pls help.m a noob in all of this...HELLLLP

i didn't say i jailbroke it in the 1st place did i, so stop basing ur comments on assumptions ,not that i need ur jobless ass to comment on my query....so 2 set the record straight for all u dumb ****s i bought a jailbroken ps3...and if i haven't mentioned it already I'm new to all of this therefore this is not a tutorial but a query to get my problems solved hence i dnt need sarcasm from disillusioned 40yr old virgin who has no other job then to comment on post without any purpose

First superweed yes you need winrar after that right click file it will say extract here once you have file it will be in .pup format put on usb drive (.pup file) go into safe mode or recovery mode what ever they call it and update from usb thats it

I would actually try to learn to use google before trying to call someone out that knows a whole lot more than you do.

He is on a mac. So he cannot use "win"Rar. And op no need to be a dbag. We allready have a person who is rude to people and he is a supermod :D

Winrar is for:Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, Linux (Wine required for GUI), OS/2[2]

And gaia manager is not a cfw. It is a file manager. If you want to be unjailbroken then update via internet to 4.11, also I don't care if you want to be on x.xx fw if you cant figure out how to unrar a file then there is no reason to explain anything else, there is a super amazing learning research tool it is called "Google" or "Bing".
