PS3 Test Kits

I'm just interested to find out if there's still a need for PS3 test kits within the scene. I have one sitting in a cupboard collecting dust; it had a firmware update from work around the time dead space 2 dropped. If there is a need, how much would be a fair price for the unit?

I'm pretty sure there would be A LOT of people interested in your test machine :) Seriously, give it a go and you'll see :)

Definitely would be a lot of interest for this, if it went up for sale. What sort of price would it fetch?

With the ability to do Cex > Dex conversions, i don't see a test machine earning that much money, though i could be wrong.....

I'll give you a hundred bucks for it ;)

Seriously though, there's people who collect these things. Is it the 60GB with full BC and 4 USB ports?

zecoxao 06-08-2012 07:44 PM

@svenmullet if you get it for 100 bucks you're one of the few to have bought a DEX for that price lol

edit: @GregoryRasputin , only after 1 year of searching i found a person, yes, it's freaking hard :/

Not sure on the disc size, though i remember when i was developing for it there were 80gb versions kicking about. I'll have to boot it up to check for sure. It's fully BC, has 4 USB ports and is one of the original versions that has the memory card slots until a lift-up panel. Just throwing a ballpark number would you guys balk at a £400 asking price?

i'll give you $250.00 for it. :)
