CECHA or CECHE which tends to last longer?
 

I'm buying a second PS3 for the backwards compatibility. I know that CECHA is hardware based vs CECHE being emulation. But my question is, for anyone who has/has had either one of these models is which one has the better life span? Is one less likely to YLOD or have issues than the other?

In my opinion it all boils down to the up keep(Cleaning) of the system. Don't play for extended periods of time, you can change the thermal paste. I got @KillerBug 's fan controller(ex-chill) it works very well he also provides a DIY guide so if you have the skills you can make your own. If you really want to get gangster with it you can install a internal temperature gauge. But I'm noid about my machines getting hot I blame Microsoft's Xbox 360.
