lol i used to buy sony products for backwards compatibility but they didnt release many titles, get a ps2 console if you want to play ps1 games as it plays 99% of its titles and you dont need to buy them again.

I got a vita for father's day, I love the system (especially MLB 12 and UMvC3). My biggest problem is that it not allowing you to transfer items from more than one PSN account.
I have PSP games and so does my son, I cant transfer my sons games (even though he is a sub-account to mine) because it says im not the owner. Even as a legit owner of titles I cant play the games, sheesh. Then the randomness of what does work, certain minis work others dont. So I can play Mecho Wars and Gold Medalist but cant play Orbit. Also dont get me started on native Vita things not running correctly. *cough* Escape Plan demo *cough* |
Despite all the problems -- typical sony bs (YOUTUBE being an ANTICIPATED release?) the vita is the best portable console out, and seeing nintendos take on the 3ds, it will be for awhile.... mabey the wii u controller will beat it :-> I don't have time at home to play games on tv, and if I do the kids or my wife are using one of them to play movies/games ... I can't spend more than 45 minutes at a time on console without it being unfair because all our shows (no cable or dish) are on hdd.... Obviously my hoby is more in the collecting of media than actually USING it.... but with my vita I can play comprable games anywhere/anytime and even play online which I can't do on my consoles... even late at night I can stream with remote play in the bed without the hassle of a 75% time conversion rate for video... some games are even playable with the lag ... my GO does have the added benefit of composit cables for multiroom streaming, but I'm assuming thats what the extra port is for eventually on the vita.. looking forward to wireless video... I just hope its not 100 like I would expect. For me the vita is the best console... not the best out, just for me and anyone else like me.October is looking good for it, but this is ONE summer that I will have to push through :->
oh.. this would be the wrong thread if I didn't say that I don't care about ps1 support... remote play lets me do that, my GO supports it and I didn't buy a vita to see pixels... if some type of glide wrapping like bleem! had I would support it... but sony dosn't do stuff like that. |
