Newb on 4.20 ofw
Hello all,
Im a newb on ofw 4.20 with a fat ps3 CECHE01 im thinking about buying an E3-flasher to downgrade to cfw 3.55 im not new to hacking but i am when it comes to the ps3, this is my first shot at it and im open to help. Ive done some research and the E3-flasher seems to be the best available option. I looked at the NOR/NAND compatibility list and i see my model number is a NOR although their website said slim models but i did see a youtube video with "CHRISTECH TV" and he had a phat ps3, so this is where i come to yall for help. where do i start? where is the best place to purchase the E3 flasher? do i need any other equipment? one of the E3 flasher websites said i needed ----->"You will also need a downgrade dongle such as the E3 Card Reader to perform the downgrade" Is this really neccassary? and my final question..after i use the E3 flasher how do i use the dual boot capabilities? do i have to remove anything or turn something off to go back and forth between firwares? sorry for all the questions but i dont want to break my machine, im sure you all understand :) Thanks |
Yes
@Kazrael21
you need a dongle in order to do the Jailbreak, the downgrade part you do it with the E3 flasher.
You need to hard disk drives. (Dual boot) |

If you are still unsure just ask. |
