De-interleave complete Flash-Dump-file??

I search the forum and the devwiki and could not find the tip i need:

i got a NAND-Flash dump with full-size 256 MB (made with preloader 3.1).

with flowrebuilder i can extract the things completely...fine

i want to use this dump to flash back with progskeet...

How can i de-interleave the complete dump file so that i got the 2 needed files to flash back??

flowrebuilder have no option to only de-interleave a complete flash-dump...

Anyone knows the answer here?

"Re-scramble modified dump then de-interleave it into two new flashes."

Not sure if that will work without it being modified, but I don't see why not?

this works only if you have the 2 132MB dump-files (flash0.bin flash1.bin)

thats the point.. i only have a complete dump-file (256MB) and want to have flowrebuilder to split it so progskeet can flash..

noone else???

If you're going to flash back with progskeet, why not just dump both nands with progskeet? Also with progskeet dumping the nands you get 2 132MB dumps, not 128MB.

ok.. the ps3 is bricked and there is no backup taken with progskeet.. only one backup exists which is taken with preloader 3.1 a flash dump size 256 MB...

thnx for correcting the size...

hope there is a tool.. .or can i just split the file in 2 equal parts?
wich is flash0 and which is flash1.. this is sure not possible... or?

I am interested in the information @zaphod ask as well.

Would it be ok to just split the 256MB dump in 2 parts and then flash them back to the PS3?

SeeYa!

Sorry, i don't know what you can do to try to fix that one. How did it brick?
You could try dumping the nands with progskeet, then interleave them and compare to your good dump. Not sure if that will help though, might be worth a shot.

thnx, its worth to try out.

i hope that flowrebuilder take the parts from the good dump and puts it in the the two flash-files.

after flashing them the ps3 should work again... but thats hope... we will see..

if you want to split your 256mb dump into 2 separate dumps then download these donor files http://www.ps3devwiki.com/files/flash/dumps/NAND0-1.rar and then use flow re-builder and use flash0 as your top nand and flash1 as your bottom nand then use your 256mb dump as your unified nand then click execute and it will create 2 flash-able dumps
