Help with jailbreaking and a few questions
 

To start off I am a complete modding noob and require some help jailbreaking my PS3.I have no idea what model it is I just know it is a 120gb slim model with the latest update from sony (I know that was probably a mistake by updating it.) Also I have a few questions about jailbreaking.


1:What are the benefits/disadvantages of jailbreaking

2:If I ever tire of the jailbreak can I revert the PS3 to factory standard and revert to normal?

3:Is it possible I will break my PS3 if I jailbreak it?

4:Will I be able to download games off of the internet and download them from a USB onto the PS3? (im talking about games like MGS4 and COD:MW3)

5:Can I do the jailbreak with a USB?

6:Will I have the ability to play online?

Ahhhh, another idiot newbie, too stupid to use the SEARCH function of the forums.

Man you gotta at least try and help yourself. The scene is here for you if you truly need help, but no one wants to spoon feed you. There is a forum on this site that is actually called jailbreaking for noobs or jailbreak questions for noobs, something along those lines. I could post a link to it for you, but that would be against what I just stated. Don't take any statement the wrong way. We aren't here to be rude or criticize noobs. You just gotta understand that people of the scene hear these kinda questions day in and day out, and it gets old. So people have taken steps to weed out these questions, like the forum I spoke of, and yet these kinds of posts still come in day in and day out. Gotta help yourself first. If you fail, then ask for help.

Also if im not mistaken the forum does say "help" so I technically am in the right place.The least you could do is link me as I havent exactly perfected navigating this forum.

As I stated, Im not trying to be mean, and neither is anyone else. I am glad to have you in the scene, because without people, there is no scene. I am just stating, that people will not help people who don't first help themselves. I am new too. It took a lot of time and frustration just to figure out the forums and to figure it what little bit I know about the scene. We are all friends here. My apologies, but you have to realize we get the same questions Ad Nauseum here....

You could atleast take the time and not waste ours. We answer these Questions 50 ****ing times a day. You could SEARCH. Or click the Giant ****ing banner at the top of the forum pages.
