PS Vita Tools 1.06 and VITA KEYS RELEASED!

Today developer Deroad as released the psvita keys, and the program vita tools ver 1.06 theres is a quote from the source:

I have updated my VitaTools to 1.06. I have added ungpkg to unpack the game package files for vita (it needs the vitakeys). ungpkg is based on the same version from the ps3tools. I have added a few things to allow people to use the beta (psp) key and the retail one. I have added a new repository that will be filled with the keys. Have fun!

Added ungpkg to allow to unpack game packages.
Fixed tools.c to allow to search ps vita keys in the right folder.
Removed pkg_reader. useless

About: Vita Keys

These files contain the keys necessary for encrypting/decrypting/signing files for the PS Vita.
They are compatible with deroad's vitatools.
Copy these files to your ~/.vita/ or %userprofile%\vitakeys directory.
Initial files were created by Deroad.

I don´t know if it this keys we can sign things, but i think we can because is what it says in the quote, and i don´t know if the vita works the same way as ps3.

If the keys are legit then great news. . it would be strange tho . . i mean, sony likes to take people to court, and if someone messes with their preciated vita, well. .

Hmm, PS3 had PSP keys. Could vita have PS3 keys???

I don't have a vita but i'm going to download the files just in case sony wakes up and decides to sue everybody's ass again.

Im glad they made some progress!I have psvita and the games are to expensive the uncharted its still around 44 euro.

Is that the keys that allow us to create Vita cfw? If not, that what exactly do these keys do?

He said encrypting/decrypting/signing files, he didn't specify what files can these key be applied to or if it could lead to something big like cfw but it's still some good progress.

Complaining about price game is not gonna make any things better, you should write a letter to Sony for that purpose.

Back to topic, Deroad is one of the amazing user on PS3 scene,
About this release, if i read it correctly, it s about the beta pkg used for psvita on ps3. But Sony changed the keys so basically it s only usefull for users who want to know more and play around psvita, not for end user. Thoses pkg can be installed on 3.55 and there are even the trophy thing.
If i m correct, and i hope someone who know better can give details or correct, play with ps vita trophy file on our cfw ps3.
Nothing really new so, but to know someone like Deroad is time to time around the PSVITA, that is the good new.
