how do u guys extract firmware keys????
 

I hav researched alot n I kinda think its hard to extract keys of d latest firmware .....even though its hard can I get a tutorial or sumthing like dat.....I don't care if its not noob friendly.........BTW is it really hard ?????? Should I open my ps3?????? Or any other way...!!! Plz I would really like 2 knw...!!!_ B]

you will need a pup_key_extractor_then a lot of patience.

I dont believe for a second that your for real, but whatever..................no one here knows how to extract firware keys............if they did we wouldnt still be on 3.55 now would we?

Well, first off you will need reversing skills, alot of hours, some hardware and soldering skills to tap into reading the actual memory that is use. That’s at least how geohot did it.

also the private key = keys to sign stuff are not in the firmware , if u want to know how to get the private keys just ask and i tell u how

Hey just wondering but did GeoHot ever release his method of doing it? And if not can't he tell us stuff. If i remember correctly he was never allowed to crack a Sony device but they never said he could give us information without cracking it;)

You asked about the firmware keys which I assumed you were refering to the private keys which are used in the making of Custom Firmware.............what you are actually talking about are the npdrm keys which E3 and TB have and if we knew how to get those we would have more than the ones they gave us.............in addition if we knew then Sony would also know and they would patch the exploit and no future keys would be found using the current (unknown by everyone but E3 and TB) method.
