No Picture after E3 installation
Hi everyone, I'm now trying to downgrade my CECHL01 PS3 from 4.20 to 3.55.
But something happened after the installation of E3. When I turned on the PS3, the green light flashes as usual while no picture displayed. I'm pretty sure I have right configuration for the TV. Then I installed back my hard drive and PS3 works normally. It seems the problem of E3 flasher. May you people kindly give me some hints or direction how I should proceed? Any comments will be really appreciated! Thanks for looking at my post. |
Do you have the esata station? If so is it plugged in and turned on with the ps3 hard drive inserted in it? If yes to all, then make sure the flasher is in the hard drive bay all the way, and make sure the ribbon clip is installed correctly and firmly on both ends. Report back

PS: What was the position of all these switches originally? PS2: I got E3 kit from the website e3-tech.net recommends. Any comments? Thanks! |

So I should check the clip is firmly connect with the motherboard? But I'm still quite confused why I may start PS3 normally simply without TF cover on. Any comments? PS:my E3 kit doesn't give me any screws to firmly install my flasher. |
When the cover with the switches is off, it allows the flasher motherboard to seat all the way on the ps3 hard drive hook up. When yu put the switch cover plate on the flasher, it kinda pulls the motherboard away from the ps3 hard drive hook up. You will have to play with it, but you should be able to get the cover plate on and have the flasher seated on the hard drive hookup. You don't need screws.

When you put the tf cover board on the flasher, does it light up when the system is on? If so, then make sure the sata cord is plugged in good in the flasher board and in the back of the esata station.
