save game for external
 

Hey guys is there any way to load saved games from external hdd? Not to copy them to external, only to load them from external in my game?

you are talking about save games right?, i'm no expert but i'm sure it's impossible, the games will only load them from the internal hdd.

I still have a problem with AC revelations, my ps3 shuts down by itself while playing this game, I think it's hdd corruption problem, so that's the reason why I want to transfer AC to external... I want to try to load save game from external, maybe that helps... anyone??

i think it gets confusing, and you are talking about the complete game and not the save game.

if AC (the game) can run from external hdd,it's not a problem that the game loads the save game from internal, because once loaded it dousnt use the internal hdd anymore i guess.

I installed complete game to external hdd, now I want to load my save game from external too... I want to separate AC completely from internal hdd, but my save game is in internal hdd and it still use internal hdd while playing AC revelations... As I said I still have a problem with AC, console automatically shuts down while playing AC, so I want to try to load complete game (with saves too) from external...?

I will explain my problem again. My ps3 40gb automatically shuts down while I play AC revelations for no reason... I can play other games like skyrim , PES, uncharted 3, MW3 and more for hours without any problem, but I can't play my favorite game AC revelations... I tried everything like hdd format, system restore, FW reinstall, and nothing helps, problem is still there... so I decided to install complete game to external hdd and try again, but problem is still there, but only AC save game still loads from internal, so I want to try to load save too from external...that's my last hope... :( Please guys help me, I'm so desperate... :(

since all the other games work fine, it's an issue with AC and not your ps3.

Don't know, no one has complained on this version of game, everyone said that game works perfectly except me... I searched whole internet to find solution, but no one can't say what is my problem... BLES01466 is the only good working version of the game, I can't find other....

shutting down like going to standby mode? , and dous it shut down after only few minutes of gameplay or after a couple of hours.

how is your fan spinning, high or low, i still have a 40GB ps3 and that one is still pretty quiet.

long story short, could it not be a heat issue?, maybe AC pushes the ps3 more then other games.
