Hello has all here is I look develop for create a software which allows of to add more than 10 games on the hdd dex

I succeeded has to add more than 10 games

And has modiffier the size to assign for every games

I would tell about it to have more later one contacts seriousness

en fait je cherche des développer pour crée un logiciel comme par example (Open BDEMU HDD Manager)

j'ai réussi a modifier la taille entre chaque slot qui est par default de 0xba7400000

j'ai donc crée des slots de 10.5go et j'ai ensuite mit le même jeux car j'avais que celui la sur les 15 slot

la ps3 détecte et lance n'importe quel slot même au dessus du 10ieme slot

je programme aussi je pourrais le faire mais je n'ai pas du tous le temps de le faire c'est pourquoi je cherche un dev

I like to create a tool e.g like Open BDEMU HDD manager, i managed to change the size between/from? each slot from standard settings:
hex 0xba7400000 (50050629632 bytes)

i made each slot 10.5GB and have the same game? all games mounted on slot0-15
the ps3 detects and boot each slot/game, even above the 10th slot (great work ;) )

i'm a programmer but due not having much free time, maybe someone can help writing a tool ( freestyle Open BDEMU HDD Manager ? ;)

mon problème était de mètre plus de 4 jeux sur mon hdd car il fait que 149Go

sur le disque dur un espace de 0xba7400000 et défini pour faire les 46.6GO du Blu-ray seulement sur un disque dur de 149Go comme le mien je peut en rentre tous juste 4

j'ai donc chercher a modifier la taille allouer pour chaque jeux car même si on change dans ps3gen le type de format les jeux prendront la même taille 46.6Go

donc a l'offset 0x20000 on a sa

en rouge(0x2000f) le slot sélectionner pour changer de jeux

en bleu(0x2000b) le nombre de slot voulu

en orange les valeur a changer pour dimensionner les slot (valeur en C.H.S inverser)

j'ai défini quelque valeur je ne sais pas si il sont identique pour tous les disque dur (ces valeur sont déjà inverser)

20GO = 02 80 03
15GO = 01 E0 03
10GO = 01 40 03
5GO = 00 A0 03

pour trouver ces valeur il suffit de les mètres dans la table de partition a l'offset 0x1cb est de reouvrir le hdd

ansi 0x05D3A0 (valeur par default) donne sa

on peut voir que j'ai déjà des jeux et donc j'ai déjà modifier les valeurs

toute fois une fois la taille du slot modifier on pourras mètre que des jeux de taille inférieur car si on change cette valeur est que un autre jeux et installer au slot suivant on risque d’écraser les donner du jeux suivant

ou alors surprimé 2 slot pour les fusionner

peut être du a une taille de hdd limiter a 500go et comme chaque slot faisais 46.6Go on pouvais en mètre que 10

bebou007 make 12(0C) slots for games on his BDemu_hdd.
then he modifies the size of the slot's to fixed sizes of 20GB or 10GB or 5GB, by
editing the header values. now you can put a game with a size of 4.9GB (like dark souls)
into a slot of 5GB. and you lost not so many diskspace as otherwise.

i have make anything like that, but my way use the completely space on hdd.

put a game, with ps3gen, on your hdd. e.g. dark souls. then open the hdd in
hex-editor and go to offset 0x20000
the red byte's are the size of game/iso in sector's of 2048 byte:
2705E0 hex = 2557408 sector's = 4994MB ~ 4,9GB

the blue byte's are the "fake" size of whole hdd, my hdd in in this example
is 120GB, but 4 slot's, each 46,5 GB(BRD dual layer, max iso size) needs 186 GB.
5D3A000 hex = 97755136 sector's of 2048 byte ~ 186 GB

$ony fake disksize, we might as well.

multiply the gamesize by 4 to get the new "fake"max size of hdd:

2705E0 hex * 4 = 9C1780 hex

and overwrite the old "fake"max size of hdd(the blue byte's):
save change and close the hex editor. If you now put the next game in the
next slot, using ps3gen, this game will begin on the end of the first game.
without lost gig's of hddspace.

you can furthermore change/increase the slot count, but the multiplier for the new
fake hdd size must be 4 !!!

repeat those steps after every new game.

All games are mountable in xmb, dark souls start for me, but i have not test
it with multiman or other app's. i have test "Open BDEMU HDD Manager"
released by FreePlay but it's work not with these changes on partition.
i switch my iso's with ps3gen/BD Emulator HDD Utility or winhex by using the
flag on offset 0x2000F. 00 hex = first game is mounted, 01 hex second game...

I actually had a better understanding of what is the value I change

I had used the partition table is to find a value without really knowing what it corresponded

I thought it were one of adrees in c.h.s

the concern with the fact to the exact size of the game is that if you want to change games on the slot you can put a game that same size or less than the first game install

while by placing slot size 5GB, 10GB, 15GB or 20GB can put any games between 0 and 0 and 5GB or 10GB and 15GB or 0 ...

another way is

get ps3 gen v3.30

and there is a file called genelib.dll
open it up in a hex editor
and search for the offset 5D979 and change the 04 to 50 .
it will make 80 images when u format the hdd with ps3gen
. i had tried it but i only get 14 images , maybe its cos of the size of my hdd
