n0drm patch problem
hey guys
seems im having a bit of trouble installing the n0drm patches correctly. the ones im having trouble with are the ones for skyrim, ssx and cod:mw3. after installing the .pkg's and the eboots and param.sfo's i try and load the game from multiman and it shows up as a question mark in the games column. when i click on it i get the msg "disc cannot be loaded". the games as long as i stay on v.100 but if i try and use any of the updates i get that message. any ideas? if you need to know i am loading the games from an external hdd in a path like this: dev_usb1/GAMES/BLUS30849 - SSX/ appreciate any and all help guys |
did you get the repack for ssx or the original one?
|
you get a question mark because you are using cross patches.. like a EU patch on a US backup.. edit the GAME TITLEID in the PARAM.SFO and PS3_DISC.SFB files and then install install your patches.. Also copy the patches to "dev/hdd_0/games" path and not the actual game dir on the external drive..

falloutsux: yes i am using the repack
poorguy: dont know why i didnt think of that. thanks! i will give it a try and report back EDIT: when you say to copy the patches to dev_hdd0/games you dont mean the actual .pkg file do you? if not when i install the .pkg files i just goto Install Packages under the games column. wasnt aware you could specify where the .pkg's installed to if that is the case |
Not the actual pkg files.. the EBOOT and PARAM.SFO provided separately by N0DRM in their fixes (if any)..
PS: use "@" when mentioning members.. helps us to reply faster.. |
@poorguy
: i went through all the param.sfo and game_disc.sfb and they were all correct. im guessing this is having to do with me putting the n0drm fixes in the actual game dir and not the dev_hdd0/games/ dir

Ok heres the latest I tried for COD:MW3
I installed update .pkg's 119-121 Placed n0drm patch v100 into PS3_GAMES folder Placed n0drm patch v121 into HDD0_DEV/GAME folder Now when I try to play the game I am asked to update to firmware v4.00 or later. Still doing something wrong with these game updates but Im not sure what. |
@kbryang
.. Did u install a spoofer?? I guess not.. And just copy one fix in the end... the 1.21 fix.. that's it..
|
nevermind guys i am good to go. rebuilt the ps3 database and that fixed the problem
