Q.1 - So Im on OFW-DEX 4.11 at the moment can I update to OFW-DEX 4.21 what are the advantages.

Q.2 - Now I have Multiman 4.04 when I start it this comes up ( critical error multiman cannot access or create default backup folder game backup functions may not work properly please use different payload if necessary - What does this mean and how do I fix it when I click OK it loads up normally ) .

Q.3 - Whats the latest version of DEX Showtime that works so I can install it also is 4.04 the latest multiman that works on DEX if not please let me know whats the Latest.

Q.4 - I am wanting to understand how to play Games from External USB HDD on a DEX System Please help Me get the Latest Games working what should I check in Debug Menu and what should I have installed.

Q.5 - BLES01661 Sleeping Dogs How do I play it on DEX its Currently on MY EX: USB HDD with 2 other games.

Please help answer all the above Questions It'd be much Appreciated.

1.yo can update to Dex 4.21 and play the latest Games like Resident Evil 6.
2.Do you use Multiman DEX? - try to get the lastest version for DEX
3.No its not the lastest version...here you can find it..
4.You have to format your external HDD to a BDMU emulator and build your images.
You can format it with your PS3 or ps3gen.
5.Sleeping Dogs - make a fix with Majrawi Game Fixer - make image with Gengp3 and after build it with ps3gen..

2ND Yes Im using DEX Multiman and thanks for the link to the latest dex version - It works except there a problem I hope gets fixed in showtime which works now when I exit showtime to go back to multiman main screen it exited straight to the main screen of the PS3 any Reasons why please.

4TH So like when I format my External USB HDD using the BDMU Emulator should the USB HDD be Empty with out anything on or should my games folder with the games inside be on it - what does this BDMU DO I need help understanding Please

1.If you are on DEX 4.11 you can update to DEX 4.21.
2.You should use the DEX version for showtime I guess.
3.You are welcome.
4.First you have to format your HDD to a BD Emulator and after that build your games on this BD Emulator with ps3gen and gengp3.

do you still need to format your hd if you plan on mounting games through the network? (you can do that...right?)

If you use your old backups you can boot them from your HDD or even PC with Game Mounter and Target Manager.
For the new ones you will still need to format your HDD and you can use Multiman to boot and select them ...
