PS3 Bricked on e3 flasher downgrade
 

Hello :)

While I was trying my ps3 got bricked. It happened when I was trying to flash the e3_downgrade.bin. After that I got 10001111 error and later when I tryed to turn my ps3 on I just got 3 beeps and blinking red light. My model is CECH L 04 Phat PS3 80 gb. Ofw: 4.25.

Could you please check my bios so I know what to do next:

the backup contains CFW355 on both ros folders, check with norpatch
so u must have downgraded already/made backup and then bricked?!
or thought it was on 4.25 when u bought it but it was spoofer?

I checked his dump earlier and found all that out for him. I told him he was a chechLxx model with min version of 2.45 and the ros0 ros1 files said he was on 3.55. He said he was on 4.xx so I thought I was going crazy. Never even thought he could be on 3.55 already withs spoofer. Good onya mate. Regular old Sherlock Holmes. ;)

I cant believe this so a bought a new e3 flasher for nothing..a bought the console from a guy it was not new. now I think that I will go crazy. So is there now a way to restore my bios dump so I dont have to do the rest of the downgrade proces.

I really dont get it. Psn and everything was working like it was real 4.25.

Please help me i really didnt know about this.

No i didnt downgraded before. I made e3 flasher update, than dump backup, then dump restore and while I was trying to flash e3_downgrade bin i got the mentioned error from the ts board leds. After that brick with 3 beeps and blinking red light.

Solder a wire from sbe to nor tristate.

Flash your backup with switch 1 up the rest down.

Reboot ps3 with all switches down and it should be restored.

Well your dumps have been verified by me and haz367. Now all you need to do is solder the wire from sbe point on ribbon to nor tristate on ps3 motherboard, put your bios on your sd card and name them bkpps3.bin and then put it in the flasher. Put switch 1 up and turn on the ps3. Wait a few moments and then hit start on the flasher and let the lights light up one by one. When they are done they will go back to alternating 4 then 4. Now you can turn off the ps3 using the power button. Put switch 1 down and then turn on the ps3. You should be fixed and then check to see if you are on 3.55 spoofed or 4.25 for real.

Ok I am gone try it. Is it really possible to have a spoofer and no install package folder and/or files couse I had none.

No. Even if it is spoofed, there will still be install pkg and app/home option.

I had someone bring me a ps3 to downgrade. He said it was on 3.72.

So I always turn them on and test them first.
It had multiman on it, so I tried to open it and it opened.
The xmb said it was 3.72, but inside MM it said 3.55.

There was no app/home or install packages.

So I booted the recovery menu, and picked option 6. and wouldn't you know, it said 3.55.

So I installed OFW 3.55 and then Kmeaw.

I don't know why the app/home and install packages were gone, but it was just spoofed to 3.72.:dontknow:
