DLC: Region Free or Not?
 

Okay I believe I found my answer via Google. Which was "DLC for the PS3 is Region Locked". What about if I rename BLUS/BLES and vice versa to utilize the DLC. Or I have to used a tool to assist me for the method.

Kinda stressing me out, How do you utilize DLC from alternate regions of the PS3 game?

If you may please provide me some incite on this matter.

I'm sure when Batman:AC came out we got EU versions and ran US DLC on them.

I thought it was as simple as renaming your game/dlc folder and param.sfo to match your games eboots actual ID, but I could be wrong :dontknow:

I was thinking same thing too but wasn't sure. Thanks for at least replying. I believe other members weren't confident with the answer they could have provide. Still love them though. Me personally I like to give correct information without reasonable doubt.

At the end of the day, its worth a shot to install (for example) US DLC via cracked PKG to your internal HDD0:/game/BLUS123456, rename it folder and param.sfo to reflect your EU game on (for example) your external HDD under the ID BLES123456.

If it doesnt work, just remove the DLC you installed and modded, and there is no love lost.
