ps3 updating problem
 

so my ps3 can update for some reason. i try updating to either a cfw or ofw after it reads the file and then in the middle of checking the update it says file corrupt what should i do?

Where are you getting your firmwares from?

well i dled from the official playstation website and i tired updating from the games

is there a way i can restart the firmware to the beginning?

Is there anything wrong with your ps3? Like the blue ray drive, or Bluetooth receiver? If it keeps telling you the file is corrupt, try dling it from ps3dvwiki

everythign works fine as far as i know. i can play old games and ps2 or ps games. it connects to my controllers so im assuming bluetooth works. i dont know whats wrong but i have a feeling it something to do with the software

actually my ps3 had a no video problem then i learned of the restore menu and i restored the ps3
