why rogero didnt release the CFW 4.21 without level 1 check?
 

yes, the question is why? my girlfriend have a ps3 and she can't install this new CFW on her downgraded ps3 cuz this one have level 1 check disable, why rogero not enable it?

I don't know why but probably because he doesn't know the proper offsets to change yet.


Anyway just dehash that ps3 then you can install this firmware.

how to dehash without tool? without open ps3? my girlfriend cant...

Search for minverchk, it will tell you the lowest firmware version you can install on that ps3.

After you find out use the rebug qaflag tool(must be on 3.55 to use it)

Then you will need to install in recovery mode a lower version firmware(do not downgrade to a lower version than what minverchk said)

Now install 3.55 ofw and then install cfw 4.21 v1.09d

Do not install cfw 4.21 v1.00

because you need the right keys to decrypt and sign the file, not sure on lv1, but i know we cant make a spoofer until the appldr keys for 4.2x are worked out to patch vsh.self along with the other simple files :)...

dont install any spoofers on rogero 4.21 you will 99.9% brick lol

Rogero can not do it since Lv1 and Lv2_Kernel keys are not publicly released for 4.XX firmwares.
So we need the Lv1 and Lv2 keys to be able to do a good CFW with all newer and old feature and to be able to install it in any moddable console without brick.

Could one sign a modded vsh with 3.6 private. Then spoof? Same as how home brew is getting enabled on 4.21. Maybe vsh is an app and the homebrew is npdrm?????
