how to fix dex to cex brick with ipod touch?
 

Hallo everyone

I suffered from the dex to cex brick, and now I'm trying to use my old ipod touch 1. gen as a fsm dongle. I have installed openiboot, idroid and after long time search I found a zip called psfreedom-itouch1g.zip. I followed this tutorial: http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/...ne-ipod-2.html

It's here I'm stuck. My ipod never reaches the "Waiting for Device to be ready" state. I'm not sure it is the right files I'm using, but I can't seem to find anything else. I really hope someone with a little experience can help me out here :-)

you need a hardware flasher

I don't think you can fix the brick by connecting any usb, you need a hardware flasher ( e3 or progskeet )

then I look at some of the tutorials about it on the internet (fx http://www.ps3iso.com/ps3-tutorials/...x-dex-cex.html) It just says "fsm dongle". If I bought one of these http://www.modtraders.co.uk/minimus-...ent-board.html wouldn't I be able to unbrick my ps3 ?
