Rogero 4.30 cfw, all games corrupted.
 

hi, i went from kmeaw 3.55 to rogero 4.30cfw.
i put a few backups on my ps3, loaded up multiman, choose bd-mirror.
it brings me back to the xmb, i go to the disc and it says corrupted data, so i can't load any game. i have tried several games so far.

any advice?

ok, so i went to app_home/ps3_game over the disc icon and it lets me boot the game.

but how come its not like kmeaw, where you go to the disc to boot. or am i missing something simple.

i'm on 4.21 and i still use disc to boot...

i also have not needed the bd-mirror... although i hae read it is a good idea for 4.30

also are you sure these games are clean rips?

Are you using an external hard drive? If so try the rightmost usb port for the drive, I had the same problem and switching ports fixed it.

one was a bad rip gran turismo the rest are all working perfect, using app_home/ps3_game.

and i have being using external and internal to the same result.

i got assassin's 1 in as the blu ray disc. might try a different game, but this is weird, if you's are not having the issue.
maybe i will go backup my gamesaves, go back to 3.55ofw and format the drive then go to 3.55cfw then back to 4.30 if all fails. or just play it safe and just use the app_home/ps3_game way.
but it will play on my mind as its not the way it should be.
if you's have any other advice im all ears.


RESOLVED:
i swapped the disc ac1 to gta, it worked then.

but that was not what fixed it. the disc refresh did it.

i said earlier in my post that gran turismo was corrupted, well that was the first game i tried. so when i chose other games in multiman the game disc still came up as corrupted.

so trying a new game in multiman and taking the disc out and putting it back in fixed it.


its funny i did a restart and all beforehand and that did not even solve it.

i haven't played the game yet. so i haven't tried unfortunately, but reports say it works.
but its being 5 days since your post, so i say you got it working but now.
if not search around im sure somebody else had problems too, and solved it.

I'm Playing Dishonored on Rogero 4.30 CFW without any problems. I don't have Game(disc) cover in multiman (don't know why).

It does not work discless.

@calo Did you apply updates to your games?? If yes, I think you mixed up the EU/US updates.. That's one of the reasons.. Also, have you installed bdreset3.pkg?? Run it once and try again..

cheers mate but i solved me problem. as said above my gran turismo was corrupted which would not let any other backup work, unless i restart ps3 or eject the disc inside and put it back in.

Bro can you help me out here? I need to know how you got Dishonored working on Rogero 4.30. I have rogero 4.30 and dishonored doesnt seem to work on my ps3. The game is on my external hdd. Please guide me bro.
