Stuck at 67%. UPDATe Loop!

Sorry for using VV its because my button is broken.

I recently purchased a PS3 that is suppose to only have the BD broken (ejects auto)

So i got it and i turned it on. It didnt vvork, i found out its a GLOD. so i put 4 pennys in the RSX and it vvorked. Later the HDD needed format and i did so. Then i flashed it vvith kmeavv and then I discovered that the vvifi board/bt board is not functioning i couldnt figure to connect it so i tried serveral vvays none vvorked.

in the end; I connected it right after seeing on Youtube. but no vvifi or controller sync.

I thought it could be a frimvvare problem so i go to FSM and try to update to rogero cex 3.55 v3.7. Novv its in a update loop 67%. and idk vvhat to do.

is your bluray drive still connected and working (logic board) , if there's a problem with the drive i guess you would also be in a update loop..

there are special noBD firmwares for 3.55, but don't ask me more about it, because i just don't know. ;)

just curious, is it a fat or slim ps3

i did read somewhere that between 60-70% is a bluray issue, but someone also mentioned it at 88%

wifi should be around 40%?

i just don't know, are you sure you are using a No BD firmare?..lol

Thanks for helping first!

This is the Changelog for Rogero cfvv i used

http://www.tortuga-cove.com/forums/v...hp?f=127&t=525

Code:

3.7 changes
1- Updated the Passphrase to allow PSN/SEN access without the need to use any other tool, just install the CFW and connect to PSN/SEN.
Credits to eussNL and the PS3DevWiki for the valuable and always up-to-date source of information.

2- Added a fix in the CFW for the old Black Screen Titles that needed: USB Mount (Rogero Manager) / Select+X (Multiman) to run from external HDD.
Now the same titles can run from internal HDD fine too with this CFW.
Credits to Deank for his continuous efforts on Multiman and many other PS3 tools/fixes.

Usage / Compatibility:
- Can be used for Downgrade directly using a hardware flasher like Progskeet / E3 Flasher / Teensy++, etc...
- Can be used for normal system update like any other CFW/MFW from XMB or from Recovery Menu.

Internal Structure:
New Features:
- Updated the Passphrase to allow PSN/SEN access without the need to use any other tool, just install the CFW and connect to PSN/SEN.
- Added a fix in the CFW for the old Black Screen Titles that needed: USB Mount (Rogero Manager) / Select+X (Multiman) to run from external HDD.
Now the same titles can run from internal HDD fine too with this CFW.
- Built-in system version spoof to 4.25 to prevent accidental system updates.
- NoBD Patch to allow installing it with the Blu-Ray drive disconnected (especially for downgrading purposes)
- Have other fixes that prevents the Black screen or Payload loading problems encountered on some PS3 systems.

Original Features:
- Kmeaw patched Lv2 with necessary patches to allow Peek/Poke support (same games compatibility as Kmeaw CFW)
- LV1 Checks Disabled to bypass the Syscon hashes for downgraded consoles.
- Custom Boot Logo.
- built-in "Heavy Rain" dynamic theme.

lol, you have your answer, just fall into sleep, hopefully the ps3 fixes itself. :)

i'm not qualified to help you with this problem, but since those members are ignoring or don't notice this thread, i'm your only hope at the moment.

i have seen posts like taking out the battery, or formatting hdd on a pc, but i really doubt this will help....

btw, sine you are in a update loop, do you still get the agreement screen where you have to say you agree with installing the firmware?, lol , just press no.

this must be my most idiotic post...lol

You can make you own mfw that will bypass the bluray drive check. Thats why the update fails in the same spot. Google it. Its very easy to do. Maybe someone on here can walk you through it.
