future of jailbreaking ps3s?
 

so with new jailbreak out, tho you still need to downgrade, how long do you guys think it take until we will no longer need to downgrade and use the e3 flasher or the other one(sorry forget the name)? idk if this is the right place to ask this question so mods please move if needed

Well you can't say for sure exactly when it happens it happens just wait, look at how rapidly we are moving because of all the progress with the keys and stuff, it all depends on how the devs work really and if they want to, Sony behind their backs most of the time, so just have a little patience thats all, no ETA. It'll happen maybe tomorrow, maybe next month, maybe next year "if we are still here" :)

lol true enough. i just thought this would be a good question to ask the ppl on this site. with the new 4.30 jailbreak update out. tho it does suck that you cant just use that without having to downgrade

Untill there is a way to get the private keys (There is, But no one that knows will say anything) Then You will still need 3.55

ok so is that the main or only reason why we half to downgrade? i see now. it would be nice if these ppl would release how to. it would make it easier for noobs like me lol

Thats it, if devs launch keys to public, e3 flashers progskeet and all thing that are used to downgrade, become useless, which means loss of money, so cause of that it, a software dowgrading or upgrading to CFW will never happen.

Or maybe there not intrested in creating a cfw without downgrading

The current method works why put time and effort into doing something that's not needed

If Xbox could be downgraded no one would be working on them to hack the new cb

It works, but we need a flasher. We're talking about software downgrade here.
Not everyone can afford a flasher. I for one don't want to spend money on one, i buy games instead.
Flashers go for about 400 bucks here, thats no easy money.
And for Xbox, you don't need to buy any hardware to jailbreak it. You can do it yourself at home.

I'm patient so I can wait for a free solution. :p

PS3 will be a fully hacked, ex-console by the time PS4 comes around. That's all I know.
