Will PS3 still receive new OFWs?
 

Considering the OFWs are all hackable now up to 4.30 OFW (for FAT-Slim), what would be the use of $ony releasing a new OFW unless it offers something actually new to the system?

There was user that said $ony could block the ability via a software update, but they've done nothing like such until now.

I won't even write a list of things I'd like to see on OFW because they're 99.9% never going to happen.

Sony are going to clap their hands and make all CFW PS3's vanish.

So why was I on 3.55 cfw for nearly two years?

It's likely they will release one that will prevent 3k and 4k exploits from being susceptible to JuanNadie's config-ring exploit that gave the bootloader, so that a hardware-hacking-guy that manages to circumvent lv0.2 can't do that exploit to get lv0... Atleast not if he tries on a ps3 on newer firmware. ;/

Just speculations though... No matter what I am eternally grateful to Juan for kicking the door open that will permanently allow us to walk in and take a peepee on Sony's part of the floor that we bought.. I mean.. We did buy our PS3's for a hefty sum of money, but they are still holding on to it, like its still in their possesion or home :/
