[Exclusive thread] PS3 Ban, CFW, Unban. How to avoid it.
 

Since today i saw almost 3 threads asking the same question all over again.
Guys let's keep this organized no need to create ONE thread for ONLY one question that is all over the place.

Let's get this straight.

1. Can i get banned on PSN?:
   
2. YES.
   
3. Can i get console banned?:
   
4. YES.
   
5. Can i UNBAN my PS3?:
   
6. YES. But using an old *technique* that if you are not too familiar with it you have to read more about it.

Due the recent events with that DAMN game (COD black ops 2) and Blop2, problems started to appear out of the blue.

Can Sony detect if im on CFW when im online?:

It's some cat and mouse play, somehow they hold some information and they done recently some official statements warning all users to REMOVE all pirated data from their PS3 to avoid getting banned or terminated.

For me, they can detect certain users. Like Multiman ones, they are not masked and are DAMN easy to spot that (you have to a morron to not notice that).

So if they can or can't detect if your CFW and you OWN only 1 PS3 better not take any unnecesary risks.
If you want to push your luck keep connecting with CFW on PSN.

What happen if you get banned?:

Well your PSN account is linked with your offline account so you are pretty FUBAR (****ed beyond repair) Even if you manage to *Unban* yourself this is only the tip of the iceberg.

There are many ways to *Unban* yourself but you have to downgrade again among many other process that the average user will probably not understand.

So NOT is lost if you get hammered.

How to AVOID getting BANNED from PSN:

If you care about your PSN account and you even purchased being on CFW some games on PSN.
You gotta do the following for the time being until we have more info about this.

1) Do NOT log in with your CFW into PSN.
2) Do NOT use pre-releases with your CFW and avoid play online.

Final NOTE:

• PLEASE avoid create threads if you have some doubt if you got banned with all i mentioned above you can search on those posts and ask on those threads.

Why im asking you this?:

Because if each user of the community make ONE thread per day about being banned. HAX staff cannot keep track of this:

• 1) How many USERS really GOT banned from PSN.
• 2) What caused it on first place.
• 3) We have to moderate those threads that often ends on some stupid massacre, users trolling, disrepecting other fellow members when all you have to do if you spot on help section or any other section some *lost* user, just COPY/PASTE any of these links and DONE!. Too damn easy, besides with this method we avoid also = Drama, fights, etc.

So PLEASE be kind and HELP US. To get ALL the information organized in order to give you better report/responses and information!. ;)
