Why the **** is The Walking Dead and Journey nominated for Game of the Year? I'd take Call of Duty Black Ops 2 winning it over those two. Seriously? Borderlands 2 isn't even nominated and on top of that it could lose to PSN/XBLA bull****?

They so rigged this for AC3 to win.

All these award shows are garbage. I caught a few minutes of the American Music Awards last night and it made me feel so depressed, and ashamed of my musical generation.

Sorry, not trying to hijack your thread but.... I'm just trying to say that the pop culture is ruling our world and it's pathetic.

Im with you, i seen the title of the thread and thought, "yay the old @Annelies is back, the one that didn't talk so much sh*t", but then i seen the COD thing and was not surprised....

Anyone who would pick COD over The Walking Dead, is either a FPS fag or haven't played The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead should have been a game that was nominated off of the air for a lesser important award during the commercials.

Game of the Year, though? Game of the Year. Of every single game that was released in the year 2012, The Walking Dead beat them all out. Give me a break.

I would have way more fun playing CoD: BO2 than TWD and I haven't played either. I just know what type of game TWD is.

Now while I do like TWD, there's no way it should be game of the year. Now borderlands 2 should be game of the year. A sleeper game would be MOH war fighter or even sleeping dogs

You guys actually waste time watching video game award shows? Why? All they do is go for the most famous games without question. If I'm curious about a game there's youtube and gamefaqs to help decide, I'm not jumping on every game that is very famous. Just because there's fancy commercials and everyone is glued to a series doesn't mean it's automatically the best. CoD gameplay is about the same as every other first person shooter, just a different story and atmosphere. Still the same kind of thing. Halo, Resistance, CoD, Battlefield, Serious Sam, Painkiller, Borderlands, blah blah blah. Same kind of things, differences in AIs, different enemies, different environments, different stories, but you are still running, gunning, and getting told a story along the way.

I really don't watch the show. I actually went to the web site to see the results. There are a lot of great games that deserve to be game of the year. I just don't think The Walking Dead deserves GOTY. its a great game and the game play is nice but I'm with annelies. Just not with the cod:bo

TWD was great, better than the TV Series IMO, and maybe people are just getting tired of the same ol' shooters.

i was afraid that halo or call of duty was going to win just because it is a new halo or new call of duty.

You think TWD is more deserving than Halo 4? :confused:
