CFW 3.55 Games can be play on CFW 4.30 v2?
 

Hello Guys,

What about those games which we are playing on CFW 3.55 right now? I mean those games are patched so do we need to re-download the games again and replace those patched files with original files in order to play on this 4.30 CFW? Or is there any tool who could revert the changes which were being made on EBOOT.bin and other files?

Secondly, I am on OFW 3.55 so do i need to install firstly lower version of Rogero CFW then upgraded to this latest CFW 4.30? OR it could be directly updated from OFW 3.55 to latest 4.30 CFW?

Thirdly, If any game asks for update and my PS is not connected to Internet then can i perform the update via Disc? Will it be safe? OR it will be updated to latest OFW and will no longer be 4.30 CFW?

Please clear these queries.

Do not update from discs!!!!!

New games dont need to be patch in cfw 4.30 :-)

I just updated from ofw 3.55 to rogero cfw 4.30 v2.0, and i think its the best way! but you can just update to rogero cfw 3.7 and then cfw 4.30..

Most of my backups that were patched for 3.55 have worked fine with 4.3 v2 without any editing.

and what about the game savings?

Those are not modified by cfw or fw

some will work, some will not, due to the patching to make them work on 3.55. just update the game thru mm and that will replace the eboot, etc. a good way is to use the game updater on your pc and just get the first update and patch manually, then let the game update itself when you start it up, know what i mean? rather than jumping back and forth with the updates thru mm.

An update will not replace a patched disc eboot, the update will run it's own eboot from the HDD rather than the patched one in your backup folder.

u have to delete your game data from xmb first for eny game and it will start without replacing eboots

I have not done anything yet. Still games are working fine. Though i tried only 2 ATM (Fifa 13 or Sleeping Dog) both are working fine without doing any changes.

Furthermore, Far cry 3 is working fine on the 4.30 CFW :). Very tough game. Specially the abusive language which they used b/w each other. Too much hilarious. I could not find cheat codes of this game. Does anybody have it?
