This is maybe my last ps3 im gonna fix.. danm all thies errors cracy!

It had the 5 sek and turn off problem.. i got a value dump from it, the i patch the dump and flashed it.. great :-) it started up fine without wire.. and then error (8002f2f0) cant even get in to FSM wtf.. i used the e3_downgrade.bin allso.. now what?? i can get the jig to work either.. hmm

Anybody now anything about this problem im having!!!

Not trying to be rude, and correct me if I am wrong ,but didn't you already create a thread for this? I believe I even answered this question for you already, but it could have been someone else. A lot of these threads theses days, they just blur together. Anyway, e3_downgrade.bin is the file you put on the sd card and flash to the nor. E3_CARD reader downgrade.bin is what you want to put on the e3 card reader to make it a fsm dongle. They are similar in name, but totally different files. Make sure you are using the right one. Drag and drop tht file into the upgrader folder and the lit will turn blue. Then completely remove power from ps3, plug in the e3 reader, then power eject. Wait till it turns off, and when you turn it back on it will be in fsm

Patch the dump and flash it. Then continue with downgrade in FSM.

Follow the guide below from Chapter 2.

Plz dont bee rude!! this is not the same.. different console different error code. different problem.. and for this e3_downgrade.bin file.. it is the one i have used for 3 other ps3 i have flashed and fixed. Now this is differen becores this error i can get my jig to toggel fsm.. i boot up with the power the eject thing then the maximus usb with the jig light up and it should turnoff but then the error code (8002f2f0) and nothing happen..

I all ready have a valued dump i have patch it and flashed it to the console and have flashed the e3_downgrade.bin to the nor. A now this error thing!!

You should not flash your patched bios, and flash the e3_downgrade.bin to the nor. That can cause problems.
Try to flash your original bios.
Then patch your bios with Rogero's nor dump patcher.
Rename to bkpps3.bin and flash that to the nor.
Reboot the ps3 and you should get the connect controller screen. DO NOT CONNECT CONTROLLER!
Cut the power by switch or pull the plug
insert dongle and replace power cord
press power then eject,
continue with the guide.

The error is in the log file from the FSM downgrade attemp?
Can you post the log file?

Did not work still this error code (8002f2f0) att startup.. with or without hdd. sometimes i can get into service mode.. but when i do anything in there showes the error again! maybe try one of my other dumps?

So you don't have the log file from when you try FSM downgrade?

What model # is the PS3?

I have seen someone say they seen that error and it was the drive board. Are you using Rogero v3.7 and lv2diag.self for downgrade FSM downgrade? It shouldn't matter about the drive board if you are.

The log file should have more info.

cant get to that wont load the jig.. and the jig works iw used i manytimes before!

I am confused. Partly because you are not answering the questions I am asking.

What is the model #?
You said sometimes you can get into service mode? What does this mean? At the connect controller screen, you cut the power, insert dongle, put power back on and press power then eject. your ps3 will then shut down automatically. Now your ps3 is in FSM. Insert the USB flash drive with PS3UPDAT.PUP and lv2diag.self.
Is that PS3UPDAT.PUP you have on the usb flash drive Rogero v3.7?

Yes sorry!! NOT Service mode but the Recovery Menu.. lol bad mistake. sorry again.. I can access Recover menu but give me the error if i try anything on the list besides rebooting system.

but cant toggel FSM with the jig, shows the error!
