PS3 Backups not loading via Rogero 3.40 (2.03) and latest multiman
 

I have a 60gb BC cecha01 ps3 running on rogero 3.40 2.03 and latest multiman. The ps3 was downgraded to 3.55 prior and runs psx backups fine currently.

I have the latest multiman and bd emu is on standard. I backed up one of my games (little big planet) via multiman. When I click on my game in multiman, it exits to XMB. Then, I do not see anywhere where I can load the game. The blue ray disc for little big planet does not show up at all. All i see is a folder called app_home/PS3_game. When I hover over it, little big planet shows up, but it just resets to the XMB again when I try and load it.

Can someone help?

do u use original eboots or fixed ones for 3.55? u need original

Guys I have done a few like this, there is some sort of bug in the downgrade process and then when you go cfw 4.30 games don't play, even official disc.

Downgrade again using the 3.55 downgrade PUP, then Rogero 3.7 and then OFW 3.55 check official discs play if so then update via xmb to Rogero cfw 4.30v3 and all should be OK.

Do you have a disc in the drive?

The official games DO work, actually. And no I do not have a disc in the drive...should I? This is frustrating, wish it would work. :(

Does anyone know if I need to update the game first? The game is currently on version 1.19, and it has about 11 updates to get to 1.30. If so, should I update it via XMB (the official way using the disc), or should I update it via multiman (square button - update) Sorry if this is noobish, I'm new at the ps3 hacking. Would this solve the problem?

Some games need a disc in the drive.

If your trying to run discless you load the games from app home.

If it doesnt work put any ps3 disc in and the disc icon should pop up. Try to load it from there. You may have to reload the game from multiman once you put the disc in.

You shouldnt have to update for it to work. But if you do update i would only do it from multiman.

Yeah, still no luck. When I insert the disc, and go to app_home folder, the game actually loads but it is loading from the disc (because when I take the disc out, the game stops working). I updated it via XMB so I have the latest version installed. Still no luck. Do you recommend any other firmware out there that I could easily flash that is better than Rogero? Don't want to give up yet.

When you insert the disc does the disc icon pop up under the games tab in xmb?
