Merge Split PS3 Games
With MultiMAN's ability to just read my external a NTFS (and install packages from it now too!) I really don't see much point to having some of my game files be split on the external. Is there any program that will rejoin my split files?
I do not really want to do this manually (ie. go into each directory and find the split files) I would prefer the current method which is used to split them: drag & drop the directory and it scans through it. PS: I fully understand that I cannot run games from my external or install packages to my external. I have been copying them back and forth as needed, I just want to skip the merging step in the future. |
Download Aldos Tools from here ( http://www.aldostools.org/ps3tools.html ) And install it. Then use PS3_File_Splitter.exe. It has an option to join splitted files in it. I don't have any games with files over 4GB so i'm not sure exactly how to use it. But i'm pretty sure it's something you can figure out on your own.

I'm not sure what settings need to be changed for this the PS3 File Splitter to join them. I see that it advertises it can do it but no indication as to how to set it up.

There is a seperate program, ps3joiner/merger that looks the same as splitter that u need to use to join, off the top of my head though I can't remember exactly what it is called.

I thought MultiMAN did this for you when you moved a split game from external to internal. I have never used NTFS with MM but couldnt you copy to internal to merge them, then copy back to your external?

Aldo tools file splitter will automatically join split files.
Instead of pointing to the folder just point to the first split file part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
How do you get MM to read an NFTS drive? And how do I get MM to install a 6GB pkg without using FTP?
