ps3 40gb problem with blu ray logic board
 

Hello guys, i've got ps3 phat here. my problem is the blu ray logic board has been died it won't accept/insert the disk, we put another blu ray drive and it worked fine. is there any solution to revive my blu ray logic board and one problem is the fan is really annoying very loud..... please help me out...

@PS3HAX_UK , did the insert problem happened out of the blue?

for the fan problem, i think you might need to change the thermal paste on the cpu and gpu.

@PS3HAX_UK , if you hold the eject button for more then 6 seconds, do you hear the motors running?
try to put a disc in a few inch, and hold the eject button >6sec to see if the drive takes it in, and eject it again.

because is it only the disc in sensor that is failing, or more problems...
