where 2 buy PS3 on 3.40/3.50 Firmware?
 

This is probably a really noob question but where can some 1 now day's get a PS3 Slim of Fat on 3.40/3.50 Firmware?

Probably a New Condition one otherwise Pr-owned with BD-Rom and all of its components intact.... and not bricked

so were would i be able to get 1?

or how am i suppose to look for one like what do i search for on ebay, gumtree or on Google?

Any Online retailers around Australia that sell them? or any international ones.

it's a 40 GB one i think it is fat but still no guarantee on what firmware it is on....

I need a place were i can find a PS3 with the guarantee firmware 3.40-3.55 to come with.

ATM i am just researching once i find one il try to get it b4 Christmas. probably price range from $100-$200

and i just need the ps3 no need for any controllers or HDD But PS3 Internal HDD case must be there.

and ebay 0 luck i only get like 2-3 results but they either completely new on higher Firmware or ones that have a Dead BD-Rom....

i can see a few on 3.55 on ebay and the say 100 working u must be searching wrong

You will never find a CFW or OFW on 355 or under for $100/$200 that is not with either a broken BD drive or something wrong. Now 430 CFW has been released it will be even harder to get one being people who been waiting for this now can play up to date games & are not so careless about selling there ps3 being they are not stuck anymore.

I have 4 PS3s & i would never sell one for under $300. Not to make money cause it is worth that much to me. Personally i would never sell my CFW PS3s that is how much i care about the. It has become a part of me ;) Good luck on finding one for that price bud. If you want a PS3 your going to have either get one on OFW which will be easier to find & downgrade it. Make sure it can be downgraded first or be aggressive & pay the price when you see a good CFW/OFW 355-. I personally do not bother to try a low ball people really when i see the chance to get one when i only had 2. If i see one i just buy it, with knowing or in hope, it will be in great shape or course.

You probably can find one if the person does not care about the ps3/s or has many or just do not care about CFW.

i have a ps3 slim on 4.31 i wasted my money on the E3 Limited edtion the Clip and the linker both failed for me. i did the cardboard and coins + tape trick to make it tight on the clip almost had it working until PS3 Crapped itself. i spent 3 days trying to get it to work. to much pressure on the clip would not allow the PS3 to turn on less presure would turn on but Clip not secure and a tone of errors trying to back up bios.

so i spent 3-4 day's on it and i just gave up on it. so i just want a ps3 on old firmware that i can install good old 4.21 Rebug on...

Is it not worth getting someone to flash it for you?

I JUST bought a 160GB 3.55 OFW PS3 from ebay. The previous owner bought it from the stores November 2010 and has almost never used it, hence still 3.55 OFW. I paid 220 dollars for it. Along came 2 controllers and 3 games (one of them being singstar with 2 mics)...

So it isn't impossible, just use your head. Honestly :) And be ready to either resell if you weren't lucky and/or ask the customers, have them check the FW out etc etc.... and hope they aren't lying, that happens as well.

The most fun is when you buy broken PS3s and fix them :D The seller cannot check what firmware they were on :D However, it might have been broken for some time, so its really a dice roll :D
