All my roms disappeared

I can not find any of my roms (nes, snes, genesis, mame) anywhere on my ps3 even though they are still taking up space on the hdd. I originally had individual emulators on the ps3 for each system but then I updated MM to a newer version that had a "retroarch" emulator built in it and also upgaded from 3.55 to rogero 4.30v2. Now the system cant locate them anywhere. I went in with a FTP thing and I cant even find the original rom directory. If it was only a little space I wouldnt be concerned but im missing about 40-50gb of space I want back. Its to the point that im thinking of reformatting my hdd but I have read I will lose my cfw if I do. Im on the latest version of MM if that matters

Short Version:

- Had individual emulators for all system on 3.55 and older MM. everything worked fine
- Updated to Rogero 4.30v2 and updated Multimanto with integrated Retroarch
- All 40GB+ of roms no longer show up via MM, Retroarch, or FTP client but are still taking up space on hdd

WTF 40 GB Of ROMS?!? No. Just reformat, They must have corrupted the HDD and The space needs a reformat.

He has every romset for every console, and all mame roms if they take up 40gb.

Yea 40gb lol. I had all the nes, snes, genesis, and some mame roms on there and would randomly play them to see if I missed any gems as a kid. If I reformat my HDD will I lose cfw? Im not worried about the ps3 games I have on the hdd since I have the disks and can easily back them up again but Im not sure if I still have all the files to cfw my ps3 again.
