Help need to downgrade ps3
 

hey my ps3 model is CECHK-02 and i was gonna buy an e3 flasher to downgrade the ofw from 4.31 to 3.55 but when i was gonna buy it from this link: http://www.ozmodchips.com/e3-flasher-ps3-downgrader-p-381.html

on the website it says my ps3 isnt compatible to use the e3 flasher on it can someone help me is this true or is there another way. please help me

what part of the world do you live in? are you capable of soldering? you could either pay for a downgrade service OR solder a flasher to your nand. choice is your's.

i live in Australia and what do you mean by "solder a flasher to your nand". which flasher is compatible with my nand

Ok bud merry xmas to ya, some of family live in perth WA. enough of that though! If you can solder you could purchase a Progskeet or teensy and solder some fine kynar wire to your nand CHIP on your ps3 mother board and downgrade your console. I can't recommend any downgrade service in oz as I simply don't know of any. Hope this helps somewhat.

CECHK should be a NOR phat so you can use the E3 flasher. You'll also need a downgrade jig for the Factory/Service mode part of the process.

Best thing to do is read the tutorials before buying anything so you know what you are getting yourself into. The main problem for people using the E3 Flasher is not being able to get a proper dump with the clip.

take my advice and dont buy progskeet 1.2 .. if u want to downgrade your ps3 .. just buy a teensy ++ 2.0 or e3 flasher and try to have fun :P

@Roshe On the website you posted you can add an eclips3 downgrade jig for $20.
Alternatively, if you have a PSP 1k on 5.50 GEN-D CFW you can use a program called PS3Jig.
