What is the Appeal Behind Left 4 Dead?
 

I think I am going to need somebody to explain to my the appeal behind Left 4 Dead. I gave it many chances in the past. The story seems lacking and all you do is spam the fire button on waves of zombies. The survival element is weak too. I like the graphics and the Source Engine keeps it at a buttery smooth 60 FPS :) but other than that I just cannot for the life of me enjoy this game. Am I playing it wrong or something? Maybe I'm the idiot here.

Co-Op, try to play with someone, it's very fun. :)

the game is for the ones who like quick fire blasts of action for a while.

its not my cup of tea either. it seems like a casual game to me for those times where you have 10 minutes to fill

Coop + some survival.
I wouldnt play it alone and havent :) its only fun in MP.
Also, online there should be a gamemode, where one side of x people are the zombies, and shouæd try and take the 4 players out which is the other side with players :)

I bought the first one the day it came out. I returned it the next day.

This game isnt broken to me, maybe a bit overrated but maybe u don't like the pacing which basically has you constantly blasting zombies.

Same here. Gave L4D many chances, but never liked the game. As I often do not like games that other people usually like (i.e. MGS4), I thought the problem was me.

The problem is U, if u dont like mgs4 :dontknow: :)

Everyone loves MGS4, except me.

The wife bought me the game a couple of years ago, I played it for a few hours and never went back, I love Zombie stuff and found Dead Rising 1 & 2 to be so much more fun.
