NAND, progskeetv1.2 shorts found
Hi,
I just installed the winskeet and injectus drivers on my pc, updated the bitstream for my progskeet and now when i test my progskeet for shorts it sais all ports are shorted: http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/5818/naamloostzj.png Did i do something wrong? I did this test for shorts with only the progskeet connected tot eh slave board and the slaveboard connected to my pc with the usb: Screenshot of my progs connection to pc It would surprise if there where shorts in the board becous i havent soldered or touched it bareley, all i did is followed this V1.2 user manual to install the nescesary stuff |
is good,don't worry about it

look this too: http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Progs...off.29_Quality |
Hi, Just a quick note, be careful and do some reading, I purchased a Progskeet 1.2 to do my NOR PS3 only to find out that the Bitstream for the 1.2 is not complete, It will read the Nor / Nand, But as of this time i understand there is an issue with writing and this is being looked into.
Like i said do some reading before you install to your PS3 |
So these shorts found, is that a bug in the winskeet program?
are you absolutely sure this can be ignored? I overlooked the board for shorts but didint found em but just incase il upload another detailled picture of my progskeet: here I've read alot about it already, and there could never come an end on the reading, in the end it will only work or I will only encounter these problems when i actually do it, i'm not gonna book results just by reading. If i get a setback then i will ask for help and if there is no solution out yet then i just wait, I have time. ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Got another question, I have seen on various diffrent sources that I need to prepare my progskeet board first by soldering some bridges and soldering wires to it. Is this also the case witht he progskeet v1.2? if so can anyone direct me to a usefull source on where to where i need to solder the wires? The ultimate foolproof guide doesnt say alot about this, and its for the previous models of progskeet |
yes is a bug in winskeet, my progskeet 1.2 "works" with that shorts in software.
Works mean for now that I can read nand with not latest bitstream,I haven't tried to write until now. For NOR is far better the teensy++ |
ok thanks.
I just disassembled my ps3 to the motherboard and i must say my motherboard looks a bit diffrent then the ones i've seen, Can anyone tell me if i pointed out the right NAND's on my board in these screenshots? 1. Top Nand? 2. Bottom Nand? |
