Jailbreaking PS3 4.11? Noob doubts
 

Hello guys, I just bought a PS3, but I don't know much about it.
I'm REALLY noob, my PS3 is slim and it's firmware version is 4.11 I wanted to jailbreak it, but didn't find many tutorials on it. I read lot's of topics here but I didn't understand much of what was being said.
In Youtube I found lots of tutorials, are those safe?
I read about downgrading to 3.55, I need to do that or can I jailbreak it at 4.11?
Depending on the model of my PS3 do I have the risk of not being able to Jailbreak?
I searched for a doubts section, but didn't find it. Sorry if the topic is in the wrong place. Appreciate any help. :hello:

You can't jailbreak your PS3 unless you downgrade with a hardware flasher ...

OK, you need to be on 3.55 to do anything first. Not all consoles can even go back to 3.55, so check your model number and google if it can be done or not.

If it can (if it's one of the early slims) then you would need to either pay someone to downgrade it for you and go from there, or buy a Flasher tool and Service Mode dongle to do it yourself. Either way just check if your console can be put back to 3.55 first, then go about having that done.

aww, thanks anyway guys =/ guess I wont be able to jailbreak. In youtube there are lot's of videos of how to jailbreak in the 4.11 version, those are probably scams? thanks for the attention.
