everything i need to jtag a xbox?
I wanna ad jtagging x-boxes to my list of services and ive been searching around but it seems a bit confusing, if someone out there can compose a simple list of everything I need to jtag my xbox I would greatly appreciate it, I wanna do one of the boxes I have laying around that I bought broke and repaired. I have a xenon that's on 1888 dash that I want to do it pn forst I seen for the nand dump u can use the printer cable but I don't have a desktop only laptops... and I was reading about the jr programmer but I don't know if that's all I need or I need other things to go with it...
would I be good to go with this? http://www.modchipsdirect.com/xecute...rogrammer.html http://www.modchipsdirect.com/xecute...rogrammer.html I already have the soldering iron and resistors.... all I need now is the hard ware, I would do the printer cable with a usb converter to hook to my laptop but so far ive read that it wont work.... please some help here, if possible I would like to order the supplies today.... |
You can dump NAND using lpt port and resistors
NAND-x J-programmer Progskeet 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2 And for jtag you need two diodes Download j-runner all images and tools you need (tutorial) in there Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk |

Check your Dashboard First, if you have slim and Dashboard more than 14719 you need the New DGX 1.0S Do not forget the NANDx to Coolrunner Cable Give us your Xbox360 Info: type, Dash, Mobo if you know, we can specify exactly what you need for your Xbox |
1888 he means jtag 7373 was last jtag

so guesse it woud make most sense to get a progskeet since then I can do nand ps3's also and not just nor with my e3... can any other ones like nand x downgrade ps3 aswell? oh , its the original arcade no hdmi xbox xenon, and its still on 1888... crazy right, I bought it supposedly broken , dude said it has the rrod so I gave him $10 brang it home planning on repairing it but come to find out he thought the 4 red lights was a broken box when he actually just dident have the av plugged in...

1888 is the first ever dash the next 4 dashes don't even blow cpufuses and you can downgrade where are you I would like this my collection if you haven't been inside it

Have fun finding an xbox with old enough firmware for JTAG :) Your best bet it most likely finding a Xbox (if you don't already have one) with a firmware that can be RGH'ed.
You can see which firmware you can JTAG,RGH1 and RGH2 here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13685979/ex...kerMartinC.jpg (All credits goes to Martin C, the admin over at team-xecuter for the image). The first interval is JTAGable firmwares... The next is RGH1 The next is RGH2 (all slim xboxes have a minimum firmware starting in this region... So all slims need RGH2) The last is RGH2, but which also needs a device called DGX for a onetime use to get your CPU key... you need your CPU key to glitch, and after 15572, Microsoft changed the process, making it harder to get the CPU key. So basically. Turn on your Xbox and look at your dashboard firmware version. Tell us back which firmware version you have, and we will tell you where to go next mate. :) If you are a female btw, feel free to drop me a PM then and I can help you there. If you are not, then don't please. :) No offense, I want to help, but I am too busy lately to have all sorts of PM conversations - have to prioritize like a dicck, sry... :( Do you have soldering skills btw? |
