New HDD

Hello again guys. I did a little search beforte posting but i didn't find something. So this is my problem. I want to buy a new internal HDD. My ps3 already has an 80GB HDD and it has OFW not CFW. But in this HDD i have some games (when sony gave them for free after the PSN error) and also some saves, videos, music and the troophies of mine.
My questions now:
1) How can i transfer all of them in my new HDD or in my PC and then to the new HDD?
2) Do i have to do something to read my ps3 the new HDD.
3) Can i connect my ps3 with the PC wirelles/wired so i can transfer what i want? (like games, emulators, music, movies etc)

I hope not to bore you with my questions.

Backup the internal HDD to an external HDD via the XMB data backup utility.

If you have a SLIM PS3 you'll need to have the OFW you're currently on place on a flash drive in the following folders:
PS3>UPDATE>xxxxx.pup so when it ask for it you'll have it ready.

If you have a PHAT PS3 with a NAND chipset, (see here for a chart to go by: http://www.ps3hax.net/2012/08/which-...-its-not-news/) just put in the new hdd and restore the data via the XMB data transfer.

Since you're on OFW, this is the only/easiest way.

Follow the method as if you had a SLIM PS3. The firmware is on both the flash chip and the hdd.

ΟΚ. Just one more question (or two): Is it better to buy an external or internal HDD and why?

That's all relative to your needs. I bought both personally. A bigger internal for game data and SEN/PSN games and my external for disc based games.

So i am not going to have any problem if i use an external? Because i heard that you can't play games with size files >4Gb. But I think I will buy an internal one. Also my last (for sure) question. What program do i have to use to connect my ps3 with the pc?

For what? Attempting to "backup" your games? You can't. You'll need to setup a FTP connection and with no way to install a FTP app on a OFW PS3, you're S.O.L.

Not for now. I bought the E3 Flasher and i am waiting. I will install the Rogero 4.30 CFW. But I want to know if I can connect these two devices.
