problems...problems...and more problems!!!

i had my ps3(cech3001a) for alil over a year and recently the power supply went up...i replaced it and the harddrive (hdd was broken) i replaced it with a new 500gb hdd...runs great...it shut down like before and i then took it apart then i cleaned all the wire female and male ends, aswell as the powersupply male and female ends....i have been using it for a total of over 15hrs of game time after this... and :banghead:inbetween this i noticed the system when it loaded was almost lagging/freezing for a short time then it would continue working again...I tried watching netflix and it would just freeze all together...It then led up to just a complete shut down. like the power supply before did...so tell me what is this?:questionmark::questionmark::questionmark:

Do you have Blackouts/Brownouts, Frequent thunderstorms, Shorts in you houses power supply, Do you turn it off with a controller or unplug it?

Those are the only reasons i could think of..
How do you clean it?
Do you leave the cover on?
Is it in an area with good ventilation?

also stop cleaning it. It is not necessary.

He is talking about the PSU Not the CPU/GPU
So i would suggest not using thermal paste on the PSU O.o

I know but better to cover all areas just in case.
Op's it's not the average user that don't know how to open PS3 and clean the dust of it.

Also wait Op's response in hour counting from now ;)
