PS3 FW 3.30????

Hi I am new to this site and have a question.

I have a very nice PS3 CECH-B01 with FW 3.30 on it. I'm looking to sell it on the bay. Is it worth more money to keep 3.30 on it? Or does it not really matter?

It does matter. The biggest selling point should be it's under 3.55.
As far as how much to sell it for, look on ebay and see the market for under 3.55 PS3's.

Ok thanks. I did do a search and as of right now there are no listings for 3.3.

I will leave it with 3.30 on it and see how much I can get.

Or just install 3.55 and generate more interest.

How do I install 3.55

Put the update.pup inside a folder called update
Then put this folder in a folder called ps3

On a fat32 USB

how about you tell us the price + some pics of it would be great :P

@smith13 Yes, just 3.55 is needed. It's available here on ps3hax http://www.ps3hax.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=557

The MD5 hash of 3.55 OFW is: ca595ad9f3af8f1491d9c9b6921a8c61

Also, don't have a disk in the blu-ray drive when doing firmware updates.

From what I've seen on the bay I would say 225-250?

I'm waiting for the auctions to end to confirm.

As for updating I'm too new to this kind of thing and will just leave it at 3.30

Will post pics in a few. It's in very good condition and everything works.
