CFW Update, Reinstallation required?
 
Hey all.
Got (what i suspect) a pretty n00b question...
When updating my CFW, do I need to reinstall everything (i.e emulators, games on internal hdd, apps etc.) ? Or do they stay "as it was" although an update?

depends what cfw you are jumping from and to. If from 3.55 to higher than you gonna need homebrew apps resigned and certain games will need to have game data deleted and latest update installed. No doubt emulators will need to be resigned also. But all games will remain. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answers. Just switching to Rogero CFW 4.30 v2.04 from the previous release, so it's not that big leap. Well then, I guess I can sleep with ease tonight :laugh:
