Enter FSM on 4.00
 

Hi,

I got a ps3 with 4.00 and I need to get FSM on it ( i got ps3break from store v 1.2). Tried firmware 1.8 but didnt worked ( green light on start but boots like normal later ).

And yes I know the repercussions ( being stuck ) , I do have a flasher uphand so it's not a problem ( but I'd like to get on fsm not from 3.55 but from 4.00 )

Any advice on getting fsm on 3.60++?

my advice is don't bother ,u cant get out of fsm on fw above 3.55 .

fsm is for 3.55 and below,
only time fsm is for fw above 3.55 is when your downgrading . then u can get out of it fsm as u would be on 3.55 at the end

As i said i do need fsm on 3.60+ and I am fully prepared for repercussions, I just need to access it.

why do u need to access fsm on 3.60+ ?

u cant do anythink there , anyway u enter it the same way as if u do on any fw with the dongle ,make sure your dongle been change so it can put the ps3 into fsm

if you have a flasher, downgrade to 3.55 then go FSM like always

That's what i am asking, what should i do with dongle ( what should i program it to ) so i can access 3.60+ FSM?

I got my reasons :) I do not wanna to downgrade even tho I can :D I do not really ask for downgrade tips, i just need the FSM on 3.60 + and that's it :D

if u cant get into to fsm then u cant downgrade .

anyway

Insert PS3break dongle device into computer and flash in downgrade mode firmware as downgrader.
2. Insert PS3break dongle device that has been reprogrammed as downgrader into your console.
3. Turn on the console using the same boot method as all other jailbreaks: Press power then immediately press eject. Your console will turn on and PS3break dongle will light up green LED.
4. After few minutes,the ps3 console power off automatic and red LED light up.
5. Remove PS3break dongle and turn on console to make sure you are in Factory Service Mode. You will see a huge red box on the screen saying Factory Service Mode.

3、Run PS3Break Loader.exe
4、Select the corresponding version in the following menu.

6、Select the corresponding mHex.file
7、The file was installed successfully, related information will be displayed.

9、Press “Program” and it starts burning,
10、Burning is completed after a few seconds.
After you have loaded the "1.7mhex", test it out. Now, go back to step 6, and load the "PS3Break PSGrade.mhex"

You mean programming it with ps3loader?

with the app in the files called PS3Break Loader v1.1
