I got banned on Rogero 4.30 v2.03
 

Hey there

I played Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 a couple of times and then found out that I got banned from PSN. I was doing the Internet Connection Test and it said that my system has been banned from accessing PSN.

I am aware that there's a PS_Unban v0.2 utility on Multi-Man, and I downloaded and tried but it didn't work and gave errors. I did some online research and people running Rogero 4.30 said that it didn't work for them either and that it works on 3.55 only.

At the moment I am downloading the 4.25 to 3.55 Downgrader PUP which is 176 MB and will follow the guide posted on PSHax on how to downgrade and then install 3.55 CFW and see if I can unban the PS from there and then update to the latest version of Rogero, v2.05. Is that the way to go about it? I hate being banned; I am aware that it is my fault for hacking the console and I can live with playing games offline but if there's a way, then I'd be happy to know it.

You need to do what you said you'd do, and then see if the problem persists - ie. downgrade to 3.55 and try again.

Thanks man, I am attempting that at the moment. By the way, if I decide to keep the custom firmware in order to play games offline and perhaps purchase a COD Black Ops 2 disc, would I be able to play online and not get banned or do they still detect that my firmware is hacked? Sorry for the many questions but I am new to all of this, I bought the PS used with Rogero on it.

the ps unban get patched by sony 2 days ago ,, it will not work anyomre either on 3.55 or 4.21 or 4.30 ,,save ur time

oh my god people,how many times we all told you not to play BO2 online but u did it anyway and this is what you get.

you can play for now any other game online fine with no worries but there is always a risk..

@ps3tricks how am I to play other online games when I cannot access PSN itself? I didn't get banned from Black Ops 2, my system got banned from PSN in general!

How do I go about this? It's really annoying.

@MIDCO1987 so I have to wait for a new PS_Unban patch correct? And if it does come out and it actually works, would I have to run it every time I reboot the PS3?

This was bound to happen, you were playing with a hacked console online so it happened. Take it as it is and move on with it.

Usually people with hacked consoles don't go online because they know they'll get banned sooner or later.
