Cant Recover Ps3 :(

I use an e3 flasher (clip) and my ps3 got bricked. i attempted to reflash bios but during the process something went wrong everytime but then i reseated the clip and it went fine. however, on the dongle steps i noticed my usb ports seemed to have no power. By the way i soldered vss to ground on my mobo or something like that to keep it on because it didnt want to stay on at first. Any help is appreciated and if any other info is needed please let me know! Thanks

Also my power button does nothing. I have to unplug it to turn it off, and i have no video or audio. It just stays on. I already attempted removing the clip and e3 flasher but same thing.

did you verify the dump before flashing anything to the ps3?

still have the tristate soldered to ground, this will halt the system, so no video or audio is probably expected....

you not by any chance damaged the ribbon cable from mainboard to power/eject board?, they seem to be brittle...

also mention your ps3 model and mainboard number (like JSD-001)

No i haven't damaged the ribbon cable to the power/eject button. SN:CECH-2501A
MOBO IS JTP-001

also this might help but i soldered vss>ground not tristate>ground because i couldnt solder the point on the e3 ribbon. So probably the points i soldered are halting the system. sorry guys the power button does turn off the system but i need to hold it for about 20 secs. :/

technically vss is ground, so you soldered a wire from ground to ground?

without the wire you have the classic ylod?

@baileyscream probably knows how to help you better. ;)

EDIT:, ooh wait, you probably broke a fuse. :hello:

you have soldered trist or sbe to gnd
this is halting the ps3 so you can flash or dump the ps3.

what guide have you followed
how far did you get on the guide
did you get your dump double checked

Press the button on the back of the esata station. It is called POWER. A light will magically appear, and the drive will have power. Then as long as you have the esata cable connecting it to the flasher, that is plugged into the hdd slot. You will be good.
