Green Light of Death Help

I got my ps3 reflowed, CPU, gpu and still doing the same thing. Ps3 turns on green light no video/sound/controller sync , then 2 minutes later it will start flashing red. does anyone know of a service or anything that can possibly be done to save it? Its a cechg01 40gb fat.

Sounds like it is a software brick. But not sure how to test to make sure on Nand models.

What firmware is it on?

rsx needs reballing not reflowing or your rsx chip is dead

Rebug 4.21.2 Rex. Everything was working fine this happened all of the sudden. Saturday, it took me 3 power cycles and I got it to boot and played fine. Next day it took 7 tries of powering it on and off and got it to boot. Then after that I tried and tried with no luck..so today I got it reflowed and its still in the same state.. don't know if I should trash it/sell it or if its still possible to fix..

But I was able to get it to show video after a couple attempts...what's the difference between reballing and reflowing?

A hell of a big difference, youtube ps3 bga reballing
The gpu is struggling and is on its way out, hairline splits in the solder balls etc.
Plus the solder balls used on the ps3 gpu is tin and sh!t quality, high quality lead solder balls last alot longer

Thank you, and would this be a guaranteed fix?

Would last alot longer than a reflow, some last years after reballing it all depends on the 'professional' performing the reball and if they actually can reball properly.
