Is there no hope for ps3 buyers This year???
 

Many of us like me purchased ps3 this year!!! Which already cAme with 4.21 or later....so are we really screwd??? Is there no hope for us? Not even a downgrade is avAilable till date!!!! :dontknow::dontknow::vollkommenauf::(:questionmark::(

If you had searched for a pre metldr 0.2 version you could have found old stock which is either hackable, or downgradable.

But yeah if you bought the latest PS3 ultra slim, you are SOL for the foreseeable future.

That is xactly what i did...got my ps3 superslim on 1st of jan....i think its quite a big issue so someone in the world will be kind enough to help the helpless!!!

This made me smile ear to ear. This is the PS3 scene. Where others shart on others for personal gain. Not helping people in need.

Not to be a debbie downer but, when DEFAULTDNB said 'don't hold your breath' he pretty much means fat chance.

The only thing that has ANY sort of (even hypothetical potential) is an ODE device (hardware) that is still in early stages, but currently has no way of supporting the 3.xx and 4.xx consoles. Even if it DID support them, the advantages of CFW far, FAR outweigh "advantages" (if you can call them that) of an ODE device.

Another job for.....the crystal ball.

Can you please explain more why CFW is far outweight the ODE please as I am planning to buy a new console which my old console is giving me noise when the drive is spinning. Thank you!
