Stuck in FSM 3.56

I got a ps3 from a friend of mine that's stuck in FSM on OFW 3.56.
Is there any possibilty to kick it out of FSM?
I was thinking of using a E3 flasher to downgrade it to OFW 3.55 and then kick it out of FSM.
Have anyone tried that and can confirm that it works?
Don't want to waste money on a E3 flasher if it doesn't work.

Yes that should work as long as the PS3 is downgradable to 3.55 or below.

If it isnt then possibly not.

@playerkp420 or @baileyscream will know about this better than me.

if the console was first sold with 3.56 then you need to go to rogero4.30v2 cfw
as its in fsm then dumping verifying patching will all be done as normal
you can then do the fsm downgrade to ROGERO4.30v2

now if you have a NAND console then it can goto 3.55 but the E3 flasher wont work on the console.

if you have a phat NOR console then you can go to 3.55 and use the E3

if you have a slim then E3 is ok to use but you need to know if your console can go to 3.55 (if it had 3.56 when bought then it will brick if you put 3.55 on) or go to 4.30.

It's a slim console and came with firmware lower than 3.56 so from what I understand it's good to go.
Now I'm gonna get a E3 flasher and read up on some tutorials.
Thnx for your help guys.
