Downgrade required for HDD replacement?

I'm running Rogero 4.21 v2.00 and am out of space on my 250GB HDD. I've ordered a replacement 750 GB drive but I have a question about the HDD replacement.

The only HDD replacement guides I can find out there are for Rogero 4.21 v1.09 and Rogero 4.30 v2.00. Both state you need to downgrade with the 4.25 downgrader first, then flash back up to your CFW.

I've seen that in 4.30 v2.03 Rogero has fixed this stating "no more downgrader pup."

So my question is what's the general community consensus? Should I stay on 4.21 v2 or is 4.30 v2.03 worth going to? I'd been staying away from 4.30 v2.00 due to the install pkgs missing. Are there any other drawbacks to going to 4.30 v2.03?

Update to Rogero 4.30 v2.05. It has install package files, and you don't need to downgrade to change your hdd. ;)

Can I go straight from 4.21 v2.00 to 4.30 v2.05? I'm reading mixed instructions - some say drop to 3.55 first, some say it's OK to go straight there...

Go straight there. No need to downgrade. Read about it. ;)

This CFW can be installed fine from XMB Update over any OFW3.55/CFW3.55/CFW4.21/CFW4.30.

Yea, quite a bit of info/tutorials are a bit outdated.

And on an unrelated note...
