CFW and PSN questions *No Call of duty answers please*
 

1. Can you get banned being on CFW, Signed on to PSN with nothing loaded other then XMB?

2. How safe is using the PSN store on CFW? Or am I better off using other methods to get my paid for content?

3. All I ever see is I was playing "black Ops 2 and banned threads", So it is safe to assume games 4+ years old are safe from the ban hammer? I am only asking since "Buzz Quiz World" has quizzes that can only be played if logged into PSN.

4. I do not play Call of Duty, So your stories of playing COD and being banned does not help my questions. Thank you.

Nothing is safe, just some things are less safe than others.

I just see so many posts. And 90% of them are I was banned from COD, Wonderful great good for you. Now what about us that don't play that game any reports from others? what about just logging into the store?. These are questions I guess I am the only one that cares about.

I play Bf3 PSN Version online and also FIFA & Pes12. Never got banned for now.And never played CODBO 2 online. So dont get scared to log in psn. And everytime I want to change a game, I sign out , load the game , then sign in.

You forgot to share which firmware, you use, if it is rebug, CEX, DEX....

Keep your head low so no modding in games with cheat report.

cfw ps3 can get online. very caution you always have a chance of being banned randomly.

4.30 rogero is also good to play back ups. but newer games like black ops 2 reports a console that is modified on cfw.

also playing unsigned apps and homebrew do get sent to sony due to the recent gaems played and online preview of what your are playing in real time. best to keep it offline as much as you can only online to start downloads or to update trophies.

Connecting to PS Store with CFW is reason enough to get banned.
